USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist
M eaghan Byrne is a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist, USDF-certified instructor (T-2), and is currently pursuing 3rd – 4th level certification. She lived in Germany from 2009-2011, where she worked first as a groom for American International rider Catherine Haddad-Staller, and then for two years a professional rider for German Olympian Heike Kemmer. While in Germany, Meaghan earned her class 4 and 5 performance awards from the German FN. Before moving abroad, Meaghan gained dressage experience as a working student for Cindy Sydnor and Cynthia Collins. Her riding has also been greatly influenced by clinicians Eckart Meyners, Conrad Schumacher, Sarah Geikie, Jennifer Baumert, and Lilo Fore.

  • Returned to the United States and established a freelance training business in northeast Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire
  • Worked with para-dressage rider Donna Ponessa and coached her to second place in the Grade 1b test at the 2011 Dressage Affaire CPEDI3*
